Photography
It's been a journey to say the least. I studied Photography and it was tough - from being given an unconditional offer to becoming disillusioned with the institution, I left crying and vowing to never 'do' Photography again. However, the discovery of Nichiren's Buddhism propelled my inner creativity to connect with my heart - and to walk a new path with my creative desires.
Photography has always been for me, a way to see the experiences of others and very quickly 'straight' photography became a source of inspiration...and along with Cartier-Bresson's 'decisive moment' I was inspired.
As a freelance photographer the years have flown, fortunately that tug of internal energy to respond to what I perceive within the frame still pulsates.
Playing with the light and shade of human existence I continue creating images because it's my way of self-expression, for the time I inhabit this world.
